IGCSE (GRADES 9 AND 10): BROAD GENERAL KNOWLEDGE

Over the first two years, we prepare our learners for the IGCSE, the International General Certificate of Secondary Education. Our highly qualified teachers support them holistically and provide students with basic knowledge in Mathematics, Languages, Natural and Social Sciences and the Humanities. The language of instruction is predominantly English. We offer additional language tuition for those who still need to meet the required level of English at the time of admission.

For the IGCSE, learners take their final exam in each subject whenever they are ready. We have three examination sittings each year. If necessary, exams can be retaken as many times as required.

In many countries, the IGCSE diploma is equivalent to a secondary or high school diploma. It entitles its holder to study at certain universities and higher education institutions. It is also recognised in Switzerland and, in conjunction with a professional internship, entitles the holder to transfer to a Höhere Fachschule (Swiss Higher Technical College, HF).
